The Living Room

Boasting an open layout concept that stems from the wheelchair-accessible needs of the inhabitants, the living room is spatially divided into two sets of seating. A smaller seating area faces the TV unit, inviting an intimate conversation, while the other comfortably accommodates up to twelve guests. The twin center tables around the seating area are adorned with exquisite Jaipur rugs, adding an admirable charm to the space.

The Patagonia marble in a delicate shade of pink used as a background for the TV unit steals the show. Clean and crisp mouldings embellish the wall surrounding the TV unit, while delicate crystal sconces hang on a crisscrossed walnut vineyard behind the sofa. The area between the two seatings is kept open for seamless movement while a traveler’s palm saunters in a natural breeze.

The Dining Room

With an open design layout and ample wheelchair access, the dining room transitions seamlessly from the living area. Friends and family converse candidly on a massive eight-seater dining table adorned with a white marble top and mother-of-pearl inlay. A minimalist crockery unit with an integrated serving counter further enhances convenience, allowing for effortless entertaining.

Passage and Beyond

Between the living and dining spaces is the road to Narnia, a passage to the beautiful abode beyond, guarded by a striking double French door. The arched double door with a bold black frame and fluted glass becomes a focal point and a repeated motif in the entire home. The passage leads us to a double door with bone inlay, opening up to the spiritual

sanctuary of the house. Four doors on either side of the passage open into four distinctive rooms, while a conveniently located wash basin caters to the needs of the wheelchair-bound inhabitant.

Home office and family Lounge

An end-to-end fluted glass partition forms the entrance to the home office, flooding the room and passage beyond with natural light. A distinct sandwiched marble table with functional drawers and tan leather chairs gives a sense of opulence to the entire space. Beautiful tambour panelling and moulding frame the small TV unit as it sits beside another study table provided with ample storage.

The family lounge invites cherished moments with its cosy L-shaped sofa, an expansive library unit in sage, and vibrant charcoal panelling behind.

The Kitchen

Two beige countertops run parallel in this sophisticated kitchen. A small island in the middle combines white and beige countertops for an understated beauty. Integrated appliances along with wooden frames and fluted glass shutters complete the look.

The Master Bedroom

With an intuitive layout adjustment, the main bedroom provides ample space for easy accessibility and movement. A heritage sofa is tastefully refurbished to provide a cosy space for intimate family moments. A true feat of accessibility and thoughtful design, the king-sized bed is a combination of two single beds that cater to the comfort of the inhabitant. A remote-controlled inclination mechanism leverages cutting-edge technology, granting comfort and control to the inhabitant while not disturbing his partner’s sleep.

Second Bedroom and Guest Room

Designed with a youthful vibe, the second bedroom exudes a contemporary charm with a steel blue accent wall. Leatherite-clad furnishing, sage-coloured chest of drawers topped with beautiful artwork, and grey wallpaper add to the youthful allure.

Meanwhile, the guest room captures simplicity and elegance through a white and beige palette, showcasing subtle paneling and patti details on the wardrobe—a testament to the power of understated sophistication.

The Vogue House is a harmonious interplay between accessibility and minimalist sophistication. It exemplifies thoughtful design combined with innovation. From spatially sound living and dining areas to an innovative master bedroom, this abode is where solicitude and functionality are woven with elegance.
